This School-Centred Initial Teacher Training programme is a school-led teacher training course that leads to Qualified Teacher Status with the option of a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. SCITT teacher training is one of the most popular ways to gain QTS, offering trainees a chance to get hands-on teaching experience in at least two schools. 

The CAT SCITT is offering training options in both primary and secondary settings within our CAT schools and beyond. Our one-year teacher-training programme supports trainee teachers to train and develop their skills in the classroom.
