Every year, students across the school take part in a day of friendly but fierce competition. Every member of staff is involved under the organisational guidance of our brilliant PE department and with the help of the sixth form house captains.

A day of athletics throwing and jumping disciplines takes place a few days before the main event. 

On the day, staff new to the school and official visitors often comment on the quiet efficiency and truly supportive atmosphere our community creates for this annual event.

Sports day is the biggest single competition on the inter-house calendar. The results of all events (track, field, pentathlon and ball games) are summarised below.

In each year group, the winning house was:

• Year 7: Barcelona
• Year 8: Barcelona
• Year 9: Neuchâtel
• Year 10: Tallinn

Overall, each house is placed as follows:

• First: Tallinn
• Second: Delphi
• Third: Neuchâtel
• Fourth: Barcelona
• Fifth: Helsinki
• Sixth: Sorrento
