Application Process for Dane Court Sixth Form

  •

Students and parents are warmly invited to attend our Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday 27th November 2024 (5pm - 7pm).

The evening will provide parents and students with essential information about our world-class IB curriculum, the excellent university and apprenticeship destinations secured by our students, and the culture of individual support that has contributed to our ‘Outstanding’ status (OFSTED, 2022). You will have the opportunity to talk to Sixth Form teachers about individual IB subjects, followed by a tour of the school which will include a visit to our new Sixth Form Centre. You will also hear more about the wide range of aspirational extracurricular opportunities which we offer. More details will be released soon.

The next steps of the application process are as follows:

- Apply to our Sixth Form via Kent Choices

- Attend a meeting during term 4 to discuss your chosen programme and subject options and to ask any questions you might have.

  • - Attend our sixth form taster days in term 6, after your GCSE examinations.
This will give you a clearer picture of life in the sixth form as well as providing you with the opportunity to meet your new tutor group and attend a series of subject tasters. This is a valuable opportunity to clarify your programme of study and to make any changes.
  •
  • - Attend an admissions meeting on GCSE results day to enrol and finalise your subject choices.
  •
  • Email us at sixthformadmissions@danecourt.kent.sch.uk if you have any questions regarding the application process.
