'Lectures for the Open-Minded Programme' Launched
Today saw the launch of our new 'Lectures for the Open-minded Programme': a weekly programme of guest lectures featuring talks from top university academics, leading professionals and Dane Court alumni students. Our first lecture was delivered by DCGS alumni Tom White and Bella Sabin-Dawson who discussed their work on the exciting rewilding projects run by Kent Wildlife Trust. Upcoming talks will include a lecture on 'Politics and the Theatre' by Dr David Taylor of St Hugh's College, Oxford University and an introduction to medicine and diagnosis workshop from Dr Johnathan Ellis, a Consultant Radiologist.
Lectures will take place in C9 at 1.15pm every Wednesday. Students will receive a 'Lectures for the Open-Minded' reward card and can earn points towards a free coffee from the Sixth Form canteen!
