There are currently many financial pressures on families and we wanted to share a couple of local support initiatives that you might find useful either for yourself or to pass on to others.

Introducing the Emotional Wellbeing Practitioners to Dane Court Grammar School
Dane Court Grammar school welcomes the Emotional Wellbeing Team - Sarah Johnson and Emily Barker. They are Emotional Wellbeing Practitioners who will be working within our school, and are hoping to get to know you and your child over the coming weeks and months, offering support when needed and finding out your ideas about how we can all work together to support the emotional wellbeing and mental health of students at Dane Court Grammar School.
Thanet District Council have some money that they have been given from the Contain Outbreak Management Fund (COMF) to support households who are at risk of losing their home, either by way of rent or mortgage arrears as a result of COVID-19.
This fund is available to anyone and everyone and you do not have to be in receipt of benefits to be eligible.
The criteria stipulates that households who have been adversely financially affected as a result of the pandemic are prioritised.
