Here at Dane Court we really celebrate Red Nose Day, with the idea that each house dresses up as something beginning with the first initial of their house, meaning that Helsinki students (and teachers!) dress as something beginning with H. This is a great way for all to display their creativity whilst also raising money for Children In Need. Overall Helsinki as a house raised an amazing £179.57. As house captains we are really proud of everyone who managed to support this excellent cause.
Dane Court as a school raised a total of £1242.72 this year (even more than last year!) and as house captains we are glad that so many caring people managed to give this much as have a great time in the process! On Red Nose Day, Dane Court runs a fashion catwalk to display the most creative costumes from each form, and we are pleased to say that Ben's excellent Harvey Dent costume managed to win a well-earned first place in the year eleven category! Thank you to everyone who dressed up and supported us, we thought your costumes were all amazing!
