Our second edition of DCGS Chatter has arrived and once again our student newspaper is jam-packed with winners, articles, and more competitions.
We are delighted to announce the winners of our first two competitions. Firstly, Lola in 8T won the medieval banquet prize which included ingredients for pottage (think swede, carrot, etc.), delicious medieval biscuits made by Mrs Fleet, a set of juggling balls, and that age-old medieval staple; a large Milky Bar chocolate! Secondly, Tim in 7H won the worms for guessing the number of maggots in Master Howard’s bucket. I wonder if he has eaten them all!
The school production of “Little Shop of Horrors” is only a week away and we are delighted to have two FREE tickets up for grabs. Simply answer the question on page 15 to be in with a chance to win but be snappy as the show is on from the 4 to 7 July only! Alternatively you can buy a ticket for just £5.
Mr Fowler has given us a super opportunity to name the boar on the school emblem. Our competition, 'Name the Boar,' will give you the chance to choose a name. The prize is is an adorable fluffy boar, not to mention the honour of having named the Dane Court emblem!
