One hundred and eighty year 7 students at Dane Court Grammar school invited their Parents and teachers to sample a vast array of dishes from around the world. The annual International Food Evening is now in its 21st year and each year the food seems to get more and more exotic. The students selected their countries and practised their dishes in Food Technology lessons, working together in groups. They made displays and leaflets which contained information about life, food and culture in the countries they had chosen. This project is cross curricular and the students were given the challenge of using food to educate the visitors.
The event was supported by local businesses.
