Following on from the success of reaching the U13 girls rugby National finals last year, Dane Court now have promising teams in two age categories. With the U13s having moved up to U15 level, they continued their success by becoming Kent champions this week.
The new U13 team, playing together for only the second occasion, were runners up in their competition. Both teams now qualify for the South East area competition in a few weeks.
The tournament offered the under 15s a great opportunity to reunite as a team, and as the games progressed they recaptured their ability to play with commitment and drive. The U13s were playing their first full contact games and rose to the challenge, gaining confidence and ferocity as the tournament progressed.
