Some pleasing results this week.
On Monday our year twelve boys beat Pent Valley in a tough Kent Cup encounter, Josh Castle scored both in 2-0 win.
The year eight girls overcame St George's 5-1 on Tuesday. The year seven boys represented the school for the first time on Tuesday and defeated Archbishops 6-2 in the National Cup. Our goals were scored by Macrae, Wells, Dobson and Belsey. The year ten boys stormed to a superb 7-0 victory under the guidance of Mr Wood on the same day with Oli Harris scoring six.
The year ten and year eleven girls netball teams both claimed comfortable victories over Charles Dickens on Wednesday evening. Our fixtures concluded on Thursday, the year ten boys were unfortunate to lose to Harvey Grammar in a keenly contested Kent Cup rugby fixture. The score of 10-15 shows how close the game was with the team narrowly failing to secure an equalizing try in the last play of the game. The year eight and nine girls ended the week on a high as they defeated Towers school 12-1 in the Kent Cup with Emily Downes matching Oli Harris' achievements by scoring six of the goals.
