We had a mixed set of results this week.
On Monday the year eight netball team lost 12-13 to Dartford Grammar in the National Cup. The year eight boys were also unfortunate to go out of the Kent Cup after losing on penalties to Pent Valley with the game finishing 3-3.
The following Wednesday would see yet another defeat on penalties, this time the year eight girls suffering the one of sports cruelest methods of deciding victory after their Kent Cup game with Rainham Girls school had finished 1-1.
On the same day the Senir boys travelled to Aylesford Sports College and battled out a 2-2 draw with goals coming from James Peskett and a Harvey Colston penalty.
Thursday was a busy evening, the year eleven boys lost narrowly to Charles Dickens by the odd goal in five. Jake Hobday grabbed a brace. The year nine boys won by the odd goal in five against Chatham House with Jack Walton scoring two and Dan Adams one. The Senior girls made the long journey to Marsh Academy but the return journey was all the sweeter after their 11-0 victory in this National Cup game.
