Dane Court Grammar School are celebrating another excellent set of sixth form results. 96% of all exams were passed with all of the school's International Baccalaureate students gaining the full diploma and over 50% of all A Level students being awarded an A*, A or B grade.

A brief and to-the-point ceremony to mark the official opening of the new and refurbished school buildings was held on Thursday 30 June 2011. It took place in the school's new Heart space (aptly named due to its shape, central position and essential function as a hub of circulation).

The assembled guests represented all aspects of the school, our local community and major contributors to the building project.

A bunch of hard-working principals and two dedicated choruses performed "Grease", the classic fifties american musical, to packed houses over four consecutive nights in mid July.

Congratulations to all those involved on stage for their energetic and captivating performances.
Massive thanks to the many staff and students who supported the preparations, in particular, Miss Field, Mr Henderson, Miss McWilliam and, of course, Mr Stanley.
